when the arc is so good you have to buy it
I usually struggle to read romance novels (which is ironic because I love romance manga) but I applied for the arc for this title on the Netgalley App on a whim, mostly because its an omegaverse novel, and I was HOOKED.
I'm feral for a "touch her and die" "burn the world for her" soft dom trope and this book delivered!
so naturally, I ordered it. Personally, I ordered it through Barnes & Noble so I could get my discount, BUT she does have signed copies on her website.
If you're looking for a hunky Irish alpha who worships his queen and encourages her to thrive, this is the book for you.

As someone who typically finds romance novels challenging to get into, this book was a refreshing exception that captured my attention from the start. The mafia omegaverse subgenre combines intense world-building with deeply emotional relationships, and "Boston Sinners" by Michelle Love exemplifies this balance beautifully. What makes this novel stand out is its compelling portrayal of alpha males who are both fiercely protective and tender, which adds layers of complexity to the romance. The "touch her and die" and "burn the world for her" soft dom trope resonated strongly with me because it presents a nuanced dominance—one rooted in care and respect rather than just power. This approach to character development made the protagonist’s devotion feel authentic and heartfelt. Additionally, the setting in Boston adds a gritty backdrop that complements the high-stakes mafia context, making the story both gripping and immersive. For anyone contemplating where to buy the book, I found ordering through Barnes & Noble convenient due to discounts, but I highly recommend exploring author-signed copies directly from the official website for a more personal collector’s experience. The signed editions add sentimental value and make great gifts for fellow romance enthusiasts. Overall, if you’re a fan of omegaverse romance or mafia stories with strong character dynamics, this novel is worth giving a chance. It has converted me from a romance skeptic into a reader eagerly awaiting the next installment in the series. Engaging, emotional, and unforgettable—this book will likely become a favorite in your collection too.
