Im not a cook 🧑🍳
You know, when I first decided to tackle Chicken Alfredo, my main goal was 'quick' and 'easy' because, let's be real, who has hours to spend in the kitchen after a long day? That's exactly why this dish is perfect for fellow beginners out there! What makes it a quick prep meal? Firstly, you can opt for a good quality store-bought Alfredo sauce. While homemade is amazing, the pre-made stuff saves so much time, letting you get dinner on the table faster. Choosing your culinary ingredients also plays a big role in speed and flavor. For the pasta, I went with Whole Wheat pasta, specifically THIN SPAGHETT. It cooks up quickly in Hotwater and offers a bit more fiber. When you're boiling pasta, remember to salt the water – it really makes a difference to the flavor! For the chicken, I just did a quick slice slice and then fryfry in a pan. Getting your chicken perfectly cooked doesn't take long if it's cut into smaller pieces. Now, for the real meal enhancers! Beyond just Salt, I brought out my bestie, ADOBO seasoning. Seriously, if you want to elevate your chicken with minimal effort, ADOBO is a game-changer. A little brush brush of olive oil and a sprinkle of this before cooking, and your chicken will be bursting with flavor. Once the chicken is done, and the pasta is drained, it's sauce time! Just warm up your Alfredo sauce and get ready for the best part. Putting it all together is straightforward: add the cooked chicken to the sauce, toss with the pasta, and then add your favorite Cheese – I love a generous sprinkle of Parmesan. This is where you really see your efforts come to life. And for a little real-talk practical advice from my own experience: always, always be aware of what's around your stove and hot pans! I had a little Moment™ where I noticed the plastic spatula handle was getting too close and, well, it was melting on the stove! Thankfully, I caught it in time, but it's a good reminder to stay vigilant in the kitchen, especially when you're focusing on multiple things. Cooking should be fun, but safety first, right? Don't be afraid to try new things, even if you're a beginner. Learning from these little mishaps is all part of the journey to becoming more confident in the kitchen!
