Making your own homemade deodorizer tablets is not only economical but also eco-friendly. By combining baking soda, which effectively absorbs odors, with fabric softener that adds a pleasant fragrance, you can create a powerful yet safe product for your laundry. To get started, gather your materials: 1 cup of baking soda, a small bottle (10oz) of your favorite fabric softener, a bowl for mixing, parchment paper for drying, and a jar for storage. Begin by mixing the baking soda with the fabric softener in the bowl. The ideal consistency for the mixture should resemble clay, which allows you to shape it into round tablets or patties. Once shaped, place the tablets on parchment paper to dry. This process may take some time, so patience is key! Once completely dry, these deodorizer tablets can be stored in a jar or plastic container. They are perfect to toss into your laundry load whenever you need an extra boost of freshness. Not only do they combat odors, but they also help in removing stains, making them a great addition to your laundry hacks arsenal. With these DIY deodorizer tablets, you'll enjoy clothes that are not just clean, but also pleasantly fragrant. Plus, it’s a fun project that can be done with family or friends!
