not every day is easy, not every day is perfect :’) healing is indeed not linear but i’m finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel🥹

Healing from mental health challenges is often described as a journey rather than a destination, and my own experience reflects this truth deeply. There are days filled with doubt and uncertainty—like back in November when I felt overwhelmed and unsure how I would get through it all. But with time and patience, the darkness starts to lift; by March, I could finally sense progress, even if the path wasn't perfectly straight. One of the hardest parts about healing is accepting that setbacks are normal. Progress isn’t always steady or predictable. Some days, even small victories like choosing to get out of bed or reaching out for support feel monumental. Allowing yourself to feel these moments and acknowledging emotions without judgment makes a big difference. Creative expression, especially through art and music, has been a powerful tool for me. Writing songs or painting allows me to process feelings that are difficult to put into words. Engaging with fellow artists or sharing my story has created a sense of connection and community, which is vital when facing mental health struggles. Incorporating hope into my daily mindset—what some call "hopecore"—helps me keep sight of the light at the end of the tunnel. Mental health recovery isn’t about perfection but resilience. It’s about moving forward despite challenges and finding meaning in the journey itself. If you’re on a similar path, remember that healing is your own unique process. Celebrate all progress, be kind to yourself on tough days, and seek out supportive communities or creative outlets that resonate with you. The road may be winding, but hope is always within reach.
