Hiking An Abandoned Zoo
Los Angeles is home to the Old Los Angeles Zoo , where people hike through to catch a glimpse of what animals used to be here. At this zoo you’re able to get up close and personal to the animal encampments. In LA fashion, there’s an infinite amount of graffiti all over the place. It’s very interesting because nature has taken over the remaining of the zoo, making it look very zombie apocalypse. I spent about 2 hours exploring the area and thoroughly enjoyed my time! This is located at Griffith Park, so it’s a good idea to do other things while you’re there as well like the ferndale trail and Griffith Park Observatory.
