Career growth: my project management certification

Getting my PMP (Project Management Professional) certification was a challenging but rewarding move in my career growth journey 🦋

I honestly am so thankful that I pursued it when I did - I didn’t have the official project manager title at the time but I used transferable skills and experience to apply for it and then studied and took the exam.

🗓️ It took me about 6 months total to get it but I will admit there was a lot of procrastination on my part during that time - knowing what I know now, I could have easily gotten it in half that time with better tools and support.

Regardless, it really changed my career trajectory and it’s one of my proudest accomplishments!!
