She devoted her life to leaving the world brighter than she found it. 🌍🐒🌼

I don’t idolize many people, but as far as I can remember back I admired Jane for her courage in not only pursuing her own passions but leading the path for future generations of women to do the same. As a little girl who grew up reading animal encyclopedias I can only hope to be half the animal activist she was.

She was a pioneer for environmental education and a true warrior for those who can’t speak. I was lucky enough to see her just two weeks ago in Austin and her words brought both James and I to tears. There was deep sadness surrounding the current state of our world, but also great hope in knowing that we have the power to change it. 💪🏼

Every day we all have the power to be just 1% better, and if you’re a creator too, you have the power to spread your message wider than other generations before us could have ever dreamed.
