Hoodoos, a queen and more chipmunks than I could count! 🥾☀️🐿️
It was my first time in Bryce Canyon NP with Southwest Adventure Tours as our expert guides and they did not disappoint with taking us to this hike.
We descended at Sunrise Point with a gradual slope then climbed back up via Wall Street for those iconic switchbacks.
You can also choose Two Bridges also looping to Sunrise Point.

Visiting Bryce Canyon National Park is truly a memorable outdoor experience, especially when tackling the Navajo Loop and Queens Garden Trail. From personal experience, this 3-mile loop offers a perfect balance of challenge and scenic beauty. Starting at Sunrise Point, the gradual descent allows you to comfortably absorb the stunning hoodoos — those captivating rock spires that make Bryce Canyon famous. Hiking down, I encountered more chipmunks than I could count, adding a lively charm to the journey. The ascent via Wall Street features the trail's renowned switchbacks, providing both exercise and spectacular views as you climb back up. For those wanting a slightly different route, the Two Bridges option adds variety while still looping back to Sunrise Point. One tip is to start early in the day to avoid crowds and enjoy cooler temperatures, especially during the warmer months. The trail’s moderate length and elevation change make it accessible for most hikers with a reasonable fitness level, offering rewarding panoramic views of Utah's distinctive landscape. Beyond the trail, I highly recommend exploring other unique activities in Bryce Canyon, such as star gazing at night due to the park’s dark skies, or participating in ranger-led programs to deepen your understanding of the natural and cultural history. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or a casual explorer, the Navajo Loop and Queens Garden Trail delivers an unforgettable Utah adventure. Don't forget your camera to capture the surreal formations and the moment when you feel truly connected with nature in one of the country's most unique national parks.
