Directly outside the northwest entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park you’ll find Bryce Canyon City! ☀️
It’s a great base camp for adventures both inside and surrounding the park.
Here are just a few unique things to do during your visit:
🐴 @Ruby’s Inn | the historic anchor for the city offering horseback riding, ATV rides and lodging!
🍗 Ebenezer’s | get in the country spirit with a bbq dinner and live music.
🥾 Bryce Canyon National Park | home of the hoodoos and truly more majestic in real life than you could ever imagine. You can hike, stop at insane viewpoints and get up for sunrise (potential wildlife) and views at Sunrise Point.
🌟 @BryceCanyonStargazing | view the stars, galaxies, and constellations at a certified Dark Sky Park with a hot chocolate in hand!

Having spent several days around Bryce Canyon City, I found it to be a gem for anyone looking to experience more than just hiking trails. One of my favorite activities was horseback riding with Ruby’s Inn—it’s an immersive way to see the rugged landscapes up close and feel connected to the park’s history. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable, making the ride enjoyable for beginners too. After a day of exploring Bryce Canyon’s hoodoos and viewpoints, I loved winding down at Ebenezer’s with their mouthwatering BBQ and live country music. It gave me a true taste of local culture and hospitality. Dining outdoors under the open sky while tapping your feet to the tunes felt magical. Waking up early to catch the sunrise at Sunrise Point was definitely worth it—the colors illuminating the hoodoos were otherworldly and the quiet moments made me appreciate the park’s majesty even more. I also highly recommend joining a stargazing tour at Bryce Canyon’s Dark Sky Park, where the clarity of the stars and galaxies is stunning. Sipping hot chocolate while learning about constellations added a cozy touch to the experience. If you’re looking for more adventure, consider renting an ATV for an off-road excursion around the city’s outskirts. It’s an exhilarating way to explore beyond the typical paths. Overall, Bryce Canyon City offers a wonderful blend of outdoor excitement and local charm that makes it an ideal basecamp for your next nature getaway.
