Lemon Basil Pasta Serves 2 1/2 box spaghetti noodles 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese + more for garnish 2 tbs- Evoo Handful basil leaves 4 sliced Garlic cloves 1 lemon - use 1/2 for the juice and 1 tsp of lemon zest Instructions: 1. In a large pot boil pasta noodles as directed on package ‘al dente’ drain and set aside. 2. While pasta is cooking in a med/lg skillet warm your evoo. Add sliced garlic and basil and sate a couple min. Make sure you don’t burn the garlic! Cook on medium low/low. 3. Add pasta, parm cheese, lemon zest and mix to combine all this goodness together. Combine lemon juice, give it one final toss around that pan then dish it up! 4. After plating garnish with parm cheese and black pepper. 5. Dig in!! I used the basil from my garden and only had a small amount so it’s hard to see it in the pictures. They were also tiny leaves. Still use a big handful if you have on hand. It will intensify that basil flavor and really make it pop.
