Create your own OC. How do you start?
Many people have started to have their own OC, and it's really fun, because it's like we're creating another version of ourselves. ✨
Today I want to share with myself what OC is a painter. Why do we design it? + What can we do?

🎨 OC. What is a painter?
The characters that reflect the artist's version of us may actually look like us, or they can be more cute, cool, and stylish.
Some make it:
- Agent yourself in the online world.
- Brand character
- Or like a "thoughtful friend" when telling stories.

💡 Why did you design it?
There is no right and wrong, but mainly
- Use instead of identity → Make it easier for people to remember us.
- Create Identity → With Line Stripes + Clear Caracter
- Use to make content → Draw cartoons, tell stories about life
- Capped as a brand → Sticker / Merchandise / Mascot
If you do well, OC will become our "visual agent."

🧸 OC, what can you do?
- Make a Profile / Avatar
- Draw as a short Comic down Lemon8 / IG
- Make a sticker line
- Use in design (poster / package)
- Make it your own brand Mascot.
The graphic line is to be used to build a lot of descent!

🪄 How to start designing?
Let's start with three things:
1.Personality → How we are people (playful / neat / sleepy)
2.Look → Clothing Identity Color Hairstyle
3.Highlights → such as bow, bag, cat, favorite
Tip: Don't think about it in the first place. Let's draw several versions and refine.

Private views OC not to be "the most beautiful," but to "be us" the most. 💭
The smaller the story in the character, the more people in it.

ถ้าอยาก “สร้าง OC” ให้เริ่มไวและไม่หลงทาง เราชอบทำเป็นเช็กลิสต์สั้น ๆ แบบนี้ แล้วค่อยวาดหลายเวอร์ชันก่อน (ไม่ต้องเป๊ะตั้งแต่ครั้งแรก) 1) ตั้งคอนเซ็ปต์ 1 ประโยคก่อนวาด ลองเขียนว่า OC ของเราเป็นใคร เช่น “เด็กมอปลายสายเงียบ ๆ แต่ชอบดูแลคนอื่น” หรือ “นักเรียนญี่ปุ่นลุคเรียบร้อยแต่ขี้เล่น” แค่ประโยคเดียวจะช่วยให้ตัดสินใจเรื่องทรงผม สี และแววตาง่ายขึ้นมาก 2) ไกด์ออกแบบ “oc hairs” ให้จำง่าย ผมเป็นจุดที่คนจำตัวละครได้เร็วที่สุด เรามักเลือกจาก 3 อย่างนี้ - ทรงผม (สั้น/ยาว/มัด/หน้าม้า) ให้เข้ากับบุคลิก: ขี้เล่นอาจเป็นผมสั้นเด้ง ๆ เนี้ยบ ๆ อาจเป็นผมตรงเรียบ - ซิลูเอต (เงารวม): ต่อให้เป็นสีขาวดำก็ต้องดูออกว่าเป็นคนนี้ เช่น ปลายผมบานเฉพาะจุด หรือหน้าม้าทรงเอกลักษณ์ - รายละเอียด 1 จุดพอ: กิ๊บ โบว์ เปียเส้นเล็ก ๆ หรือปอยผมรูปหัวใจ เลือกอย่างเดียวให้เด่น จะไม่รก ทริกที่ใช้จริง: วาดหัวเปล่า 6 ช่อง แล้วลองทรงผม 6 แบบก่อนค่อยเลือก จะเร็วกว่าแก้ซ้ำ ๆ ในภาพเดียว 3) สูตรวาดตา + “ภาพระบายสีตา” ให้มีมิติ หลายคนติดตรงตา เพราะเปลี่ยนฟีลทั้งตัวละคร เราชอบเริ่มจาก “อารมณ์” ก่อน - ตากลมโต: น่ารัก ใส ๆ - ตาเรียวยาว: เท่ สุขุม - ตาโค้งยิ้ม: เป็นมิตร ขี้อ้อน ไอเดียระบายสีตาง่าย ๆ (ใช้ได้ทั้งดิจิทัลและสีไม้) - ทำ 3 ชั้น: สีเข้มรอบนอก → สีหลักกลางตา → สีอ่อนใกล้รูม่านตา - ใส่เงาเปลือกตาด้านบนให้เข้มกว่าส่วนล่างนิดนึง ตาจะดูมีความลึก - ไฮไลต์ 2 จุด: จุดใหญ่ 1 + จุดเล็ก 1 จะดูมีประกายกำลังพอดี 4) จับคู่ “สีประจำตัว” แบบไม่หลุดธีม เลือกสีหลัก 1 สี + สีรอง 1 สี + สีกลาง (ขาว/ดำ/เทา/ครีม) อีก 1 สี เช่น น้ำตาลอ่อน+ดำ+ขาว จะให้ฟีลชุดนักเรียนญี่ปุ่นคุมโทน ดูสะอาดตาและเอาไปทำคอนเทนต์ต่อได้ง่าย 5) ทำชีต OC (Character Sheet) แบบมินิ แนะนำให้มีข้อมูลพื้นฐานไว้กันหลุด - ชื่อเล่น/อายุ/บทบาท (เช่น เด็กสาวมอปลาย, เด็กหนุ่มมอปลาย) - สัดส่วนคร่าว ๆ + รายละเอียดที่ห้ามเปลี่ยน (ทรงหน้าม้า/สีตา/เครื่องประดับ) - 3 อารมณ์: ยิ้ม เฉย ๆ งง ๆ เวลาวาดคอมิกจะสะดวกมาก 6) เอา OC ไปใช้จริงให้เกิดประโยชน์ - ทำรูปโปรไฟล์/อวาตาร์ให้จำง่าย - วาดคอมิกสั้น ๆ เล่าเรื่องชีวิตประจำวัน (โพสต์ได้ยาว ๆ เลย) - ออกแบบสติกเกอร์ไลน์: เริ่มจาก 8 อารมณ์พื้นฐานก่อน เช่น สวัสดี/ขอบคุณ/โอเค/งอน/หิว/ง่วง - ทำเป็นมาสคอตแบรนด์: ถ้ามีโทนสีและบุคลิกชัด คนจะจำเราได้ไวขึ้น สุดท้าย เราว่า OC ที่ดีไม่จำเป็นต้องรายละเอียดเยอะ แต่ต้อง “สม่ำเสมอ” และมีจุดเด่นที่เห็นปุ๊บรู้ปั๊บว่าเป็นตัวเรา ลองวาดเวอร์ชันทดลอง 3 แบบ แล้วเลือกแบบที่รู้สึกใช่ที่สุดได้เลย
