My 4 Step Korean skincare routine
Hello! I wanted to talk a little bit about my skincare routine.

SECONDLY: There is no miracle product that is going to magically cure all your skincare problems at the snap of your fingers. My progress is after months of consistency and varying circumstances changing in my life. Just because these worked for me does NOT mean it will necessarily work for you. I still wear makeup and use filters in my photos regardless of how good my skin is now.***

In May of 2023, my skin was probably the worst it's ever been in my whole life. I've always had really volatile combination skin, oily in some spots, dry in others, very sensitive and acne prone. I primarily blame the change in geographic location for the sharp decline in the quality of my skin. I had traveled from Texas to Missouri. Both of these states have hard water, meaning that it's rich in minerals (not in a good way), and thus, it's very hard on your skin and hair. I was also under a lot of pressure and several stressors in my life at the time; I was away from my home and boyfriend, attending an academy for detectives 🕵️♀️, and worst of all, my father was on his deathbed and unfortunately passed away while I was in the school. So, understandably, I was under immense stress. I tried to stay on top of my high protein diet and strict gym regiment, but it was all too much for me. I drank more than enough water and even resorted to washing my face with distilled water after my shower (wholly unnecessary, but I was at my wits' end).
Eventually, I wised up and did what anyone does and turned to the internet for guidance. I found a fee skincare influencers and youtubers and noticed they all had one thing incommon: they were all raving about the double cleanse method and korean skincare. So I turnd to the most recommended brands and products and found an effective and gentle routine that wouldn't agitate my already upset skin. And it worked, not instantly, but jt worked.
I try not to mix it up too often now since I found what works for me, but I still like to try new things here and there. Finding substitutions for my favorite products.
What I will say is that the Anua quercentinol is maybe just a TAD too strong for my skin, so I think im going to revert back to using NEEDLY for my second cleanse.
