"Kitaro Nishida and Plotinos - Before the main customer and the depth of one person"
When I attended the philosophy school of Mr. Yoshimichi Nakajima, various subjects such as analytical philosophy, foreign languages, Buddhist philosophy, psychiatry, etc. were taught by experts in addition to German idealism, which is his specialty, and it was very intellectually stimulating. Among them, many people who came to learn analytical philosophy were science-oriented, and I was able to exchange in a completely different field of humanities science. After graduating from university, I did not study philosophy professionally like a researcher for ordinary work, so when I read Kitaro Nishida's research on goodness, when I learned about the thought and pure experience of the main customer unity, I asked, "Is this thought Plotinus?" When asked, "What is Plotinus?," he replied, "It's a guy who says everything flows from one person." Mr. Nakajima immediately said, "No," and explained, "This story is about the disappearance of the ego." If you study only Western philosophy, you may be interested only in the main-customer conflict, or you may not expect that the ego disappears. Of course, there were people like Descartes who doubted the subject or object, but there are times when reading only specific philosophers. However, when asked about AI, it seems that there are similarities between the two. Kitaro Nishida's pure experience before the main-customer conflict, one of Plotinos. 私も西田幾多郎の哲学に触れた際、彼の提唱する「主客合一」の思想に強く惹かれました。特に「純粋経験」の概念は、私たちが日常的に分けて考えがちな主体と客体の壁を越える試みとして、とても興味深いものです。プロティノスの「一者」の思想もまた、その根底にはすべてが一元的に連続しているという深い洞察があります。しかし、私が印象的だったのは、これら二つの思想が「自我の消失」や「主客の前」に関する捉え方に微妙な違いがあるという点です。 私自身、哲学の専門家ではありませんが、様々な学問分野が交差する学びの場で、これら思想の比較を通して「自我」や「存在」の捉え方を考えることができたのは貴重な経験でした。西田の哲学では、自我が消えて純粋な経験に至ることが重要視され、一方プロティノスでは「一者」から全てが流出する過程が中心です。この違いは、東洋の禅的視点と西洋の形而上学的視点が交差する面白さを示しています。 また、個人的にはこれらの哲学を理解する助けとして、禅の実践や瞑想も有効だと感じています。実際に「主体と客体の境界を曖昧にする」体験を通して、新し い視野や自己理解が深まることがありました。AIが類似性を指摘するのもうなずけますが、哲学とは頭の中だけでなく、こうした体験や実践と結びついてこそ深まるものだと思います。 このように、西田幾多郎の哲学とプロティノスの思想を比較しながら、自分なりの実生活での体験や気づきを交えて考えることで、哲学の教えがより身近に感じられ、精神的な成長にもつながると実感しています。
