Storytime: I accidentally went to Canada

So last week my family and I went to Niagara Falls, NY to see the falls and the first day we went we decided not to do the boat tours or anything and just explore, we then decided on the day before we left to do the boat tour, Cave of the Winds and Trolley tour which was led by the wonderful Cherie who was super sweet and very knowledgeable, we had originally planned to maybe go see the Canada side of The Falls but after the tours we were too tired and just wanted to go back to the hotel but..we wanted ice cream this was where the mistake happened, we were trying to get to this ice cream place that was a left turn but the only way you could do a left turn was if you just came from Canada so we tried to loop around and then all of a sudden we were in the Canadian border parking lot and there was no EXIT!!! So the only choice we had was to go over the Canadian border and we didn’t think we had the right documents (which we didn’t) and then we got a whole lecture from the border control lady and after that she let us in!!! all we wanted to do was to get denied and go back to the hotel but with our luck they let us in! #storytime #lemon8contest
