Another Back Day!

On my recent back day, I focused on hitting every part of the back to ensure balanced development and strength gains. Including exercises like pull-ups, bent-over rows, and lat pulldowns made a huge difference in targeting both the upper and lower back muscles effectively. I found that starting with compound movements warmed me up and activated the muscles properly. One key to an effective back workout is controlling the tempo—slowing down the eccentric (lowering) phase of each exercise really increases time under tension and promotes muscle growth. I also made sure to include varying grips, such as wide grip and close grip, to engage different muscle fibers. In addition to the workout itself, recovery and nutrition played an important role. Drinking plenty of water and having a protein-rich meal afterward helped with muscle repair and reduced soreness.
