Cheesy Ditalini

What You’ll Need

• 8 TBSP Butter (about 1/4 cup), divided

• 2 tsp fresh garlic, finely chopped

• 1 1/2 cups (7 oz) dried ditalini pasta

• 2 cups chicken broth

• 1/3 cup heavy cream

• 1/2 cup shredded aged Italian blend cheese

• Salt and pepper, to taste

How to Make It

Step 1:

In a large skillet (about 12 inches), melt 4 TBSP Butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, stirring non-stop so it doesn’t brown—just until it smells amazing. Toss in the dry pasta and stir it around to coat it in the garlicky butter. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a boil. Then, lower the heat and let it simmer for 8–10 minutes until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is soaked up.

Step 2:

Take the skillet off the heat and stir in the remaining 4 TBSP butter and the heavy cream. Once the butter is melted, add the cheese and stir everything together really well until it’s nice and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
