Starting a small business/side hustle!

This weekend I took a big step and did what I called a sample sale where I let people try desserts i’m interested in selling to let me know what they’d think about them. I received great feedback ( even got my first order) and I think I’m ready to move forward and make a business page and website..

Running a business isn’t easy, especially when a lot of the tools out there built to help entrepreneurs cost a pretty penny. I’ve personally used Calendly, Trello and Dropbox and I can say they’re great! I actually use Trello on a daily basis for work and I’ve been using it for years — love it!

This past weekend I attended my very first vendor event! I learned a lot and I’m excited to attend more. But first, any advice on my set up? This was a smaller event and I didn’t want to bring a ton of product. So I just did one table. I’m open to all critiques! 💖💖 #SmallBusiness #summer #vend
