Putting your foundation in God means fully trusting Him to lead and support you through life's challenges. From my own experience, I’ve found that when I face uncertainty or difficult decisions, turning to God’s word and embracing faith brings a calmness that no human effort can replicate. Exodus 14:14 beautifully reminds us that “God will fight for you, and all you have to do is be still.” This scripture encourages us to pause, release our anxieties, and simply trust that God is working on our behalf. In practical terms, this foundation manifests in daily habits—like prayer, meditation on scripture, and actively choosing faith over fear. When setbacks occur, rather than trying to control every outcome, trusting God means believing He has a plan even when it’s unseen. Many times, I’ve encountered situations where I worried excessively, only to realize later that God’s timing and intervention were far better than anything I could orchestrate. Building your foundation on God also affects your relationships and work. It fosters a mindset of humility, patience, and gratitude—even amid difficulties. Knowing that God is handling situations better than we ever could offers tremendous comfort and courage. It invites us to live boldly, knowing we are not alone. Ultimately, trusting God deeply transforms not just what we do, but who we are in the process.
