When Rest Isn’t Enough

I kept telling myself, “Maybe I just need a nap… maybe a day off… maybe a little more caffeine.” Yet, the truth is that this exhaustion cannot be fixed through rest alone.

It's a deeper kind of exhaustion that says, "This isn't working for me anymore."

I’ve been reminding myself (and maybe you need this too):

- Fatigue isn’t failure. It’s a message.

- Your body might be saying, “Hey… this isn’t for me anymore.” and honestly? It takes guts to listen to that.

Not sure what to do about it yet? Same here.

Clarity takes time. And that’s okay.

Sometimes, the next step isn’t a big plan. It’s just asking yourself, “Could there be another way?”

One thing I’m learning:

Rest isn’t just about doing less.

It’s about choosing what feels like peace.

Maybe that’s five quiet minutes. A playlist that feels like a hug. A messy journal page. A deep breath.
