実際に行ってみて思ったのは、「アイスクリンカフェ アーク」は“海が見える本部のカフェ”を探している人にかなり刺さる場所だということ。到着までがちょっとだけ冒険で、細い坂道を上っていくので、ナビを入れても「本当にこの先？」って一瞬不安になります。でも、その分たどり着いた時の景色がご褒美。建物がお城っぽくて、入口に近づくほどジブリの世界観が強くなっていく感じがありました。 写真を撮るならおすすめは3つ。まずは窓際席。海モチーフのカーテンやインテリア越しにオーシャンビューが入るので、カフェっぽさも景色も両方残せます。次にテラス（屋上）。晴れている日は伊江島や瀬底島の方向まで見渡せて、「本部で海が見えるカフェ」という検索意図そのままの写真が撮れました。最後は店内のインテリア。船の舵輪のシャンデリアやタペストリー、ソファ席が凝っていて、どこを切り取っても“カフェアークっぽい写真”になります。 アイスクリンは、普通の濃厚アイスよりも軽くて、暑い沖縄だと本当に食べやすいです。私が行った時はメニューにバニラ・チョコ・パイン・イチゴ・マンゴーに加えて、期間限定っぽいココナッツやアサイーも見かけました。シングル/ダブルが選べるので、初めてならダブルで「さっぱり系」と「甘め」を組み合わせるのが満足度高かったです。ドリンクもコーヒーや紅茶だけじゃなく、レモネード、フロート、タピオカ、シェイク系があって、休憩カフェとして使いやすい印象でした。 「アイスクリンカフェ アーク レビュー」として正直に言うと、立地が“秘境感”ある分、時間に余裕がある日に行くのが安心。美ら海水族館の前後で寄るなら、混みやすい時間を避けて少し早めに動くと、窓際やテラスのいい席が取りやすいです。あと、海がきれいに見える日は日差しも強めなので、写真を撮る人は明るさ対策（帽子やサングラス）を持っていくと快適でした。
