沖縄の本部町にあるこのアイスクリンカフェ『アーク』は、訪れるたびに新しい発見があります。私が特に感動したのは、期間限定のカラフルマンゴーフレーバーで、ほどよい甘さと南国の香りが暑い日のリフレッシュにぴったりでした。また、店内で手作りされているワッフルコーンはサクサクで、アイスクリンとの相性が抜群です。 飲み物メニューも充実していて、ホットローズティーやアールグレイティーなどからタピオカミルクティー、バナナシェイクまで多彩。特に、コーヒーフロートにバニラアイストッピングを組み合わせると、ほっとする甘さとコーヒーのほろ苦さが楽しめます。お子様から大人まで幅広く楽しめるのも嬉しいポイントです。 また、場所が少し分かりにくいところが秘境感を生み出していて、ドライブ・ツアーの途中に立ち寄るのがおすすめ。美ら海水族館の近くにあり、観光の合間にぜひ寄ってみてください。駐車場も用意されておりアクセス良好です。 写真好きには、ジブリの世界を思わせる独特の建物と彩り豊かな店内装飾がフォトジェニックでおすすめ。季節ごとに変わる花や蝶が訪れる雰囲気も、訪れる楽しみのひとつです。お店のInstagramで休業日や季節限定メニューもチェックできるので、訪問前の確認を忘れずに。 脂肪分が少なくさっぱりしたアイスクリンは、沖縄の暑さにぴったりのデザート。ここでしか味わえない懐かしい味と美しい景色、温かみのある接客に心から癒される体験でした。ひと味違う沖縄のカフェを探している方にぜひおすすめしたいスポットです。
