古い古民家をスタッフ自らの手でリノベーションしたPOCO CAFE OKINAWAは、国際通りの喧騒を忘れさせる落ち着いた雰囲気が魅力的です。実際に訪れてみると、店内のぬくもりや手作り感が強く伝わってきて、旅の疲れを癒すのにぴったりの空間だと感じました。 私も子どもと一緒に行きましたが、2階の座敷席は小さなお子様連れに非常に便利で安心です。観光客だけでなく地元の方も多く訪れている印象で、地域に根付いたカフェだとわかります。 食事メニューはどれも個性的かつ沖縄らしいこだわりが光ります。中でも沖縄県産あぐー豚と黒糖を使ったオムレツ＆タコライスは、あぐー豚の旨味と黒糖の甘みが絶妙で、ふわふわ卵との相性が抜群で満足度が非常に高かったです。またアサイー＆グリークヨーグルトボウルはトロピカルマンゴーやベリーが添えられており、ヘルシーながらボリューム感もあり、旅の朝食や午後の軽食に最適です。 さらに、食後にいただいたオリジナルのエッグワッフルは外はカリッと中はもちもちで、色鮮やかなハイビスカスティーと一緒に味わうことで至福のティータイムが実現しました。このエッグワッフルは可愛らしい見た目も相まって、SNS映えも抜群です。 駐車場はありませんが、国際通りの中心部から少し路地を入った場所にあるためアクセスしやすく、気軽に立ち寄れます。観光途中の休憩やランチ、地元の食材を活かした料理を楽しみたい方、一人でも家族連れでもリラックスできるカフェを探している方に、是非おすすめしたいスポットです。 沖縄の伝統とモダンな感覚が融合したPOCO CAFE OKINAWAで、国際通り散策の合間にほっと一息ついてみてはいかがでしょうか。
