3d printed keychains are my new thing 🫶

I recently dove into the world of 3D printing keychains and it’s been an incredibly fun and rewarding experience. Using my Bambu Labs P1S printer paired with Sunlu filament, I’ve been able to turn pictures of my friends’ dogs into personalized keychains that everyone loves. The process takes patience—using a .2 nozzle setting and letting the print run for about six hours—but seeing the finished product makes it totally worth it. What’s especially exciting is how much creative freedom you have. You can customize colors, shapes, and even the size of the keychain to suit your style. I found that fine-tuning the print settings, like layer height and speed, really helped improve the detail and durability of the keychains. Plus, watching the design go from a digital file to a physical object in my hands never gets old! For anyone interested in trying this out, I’d recommend starting with simple designs and familiarizing yourself with your printer’s capabilities. The keychain project is a great way to learn, and it makes a thoughtful gift or keepsake. I love combining my passion for dogs and 3D printing—it’s truly my new thing and an awesome way to create meaningful, custom items.
