My roommate is super manipulative and it’s startin

I baked a batch of blueberry muffins — supposed to be 12, but they came out tiny and only made 9. I had one, told my flatmate she could take one, and later found out she took 2 of the biggest ones. That left me with just 6 small muffins I was hoping would last the whole week since money’s tight.

When I texted her about it, she got defensive and even threw in, “well, I hired you to cook for me before,” which annoyed me because she still owes me money for that. It felt manipulative, like she was trying to flip it back on me instead of just admitting she was wrong.

Was I overreacting for being upset, or was her response way out of line?
