It’s so much fun looking back at all the different nail looks I’ve tried over the past year! Just like I shared in my 'NAILS I'VE GOTTEN' timeline, each month brings a new opportunity to express myself through my fingertips. For me, choosing my next nail design is almost as exciting as getting them done! I love to think about the season, upcoming events, or even just my mood. For example, when I got those nails in APRIL '23, I was totally into the spring pastels and delicate floral designs. It felt so fresh after winter! Then, moving into JULY '23, I usually gravitate towards brighter, bolder colors that scream summer. Think vibrant blues, sunny yellows, or even a fun patriotic theme for Fourth of July. As the weather cools down, my nail preferences shift. The SEPTEMBER '23 and OCTOBER '23 nails often feature rich autumnal shades like deep reds, burnt oranges, and forest greens. And yes, during cheer season, I definitely leaned into colors that matched my team's spirit, or maybe something fun and spooky for Halloween! It's all about matching the vibe. When NOVEMBER '23 rolls around, I start thinking cozy and warm tones, perhaps some subtle glitter or a sophisticated neutral. Then, for DECEMBER '23, it's full-on holiday glam! Think sparkles, festive reds, greens, or even elegant deep blues. I adore a good holiday nail set. Starting a new year always inspires a fresh start. My JANUARY '24 nails were often about clean, minimalist looks or cool, icy blues. And obviously, leading up to FEBRUARY '24, I’m already dreaming of Valentine's Day designs – soft pinks, classic reds, or even some cute heart accents. Beyond just the season, I find my inspiration everywhere! Pinterest is a goldmine, of course, but I also love scrolling through Lemon8 and Instagram for unique designs. Sometimes, I even browse fashion magazines to see what colors and patterns are trending. Don't be afraid to save a few ideas and show them to your nail technician – they’re usually amazing at bringing your vision to life or suggesting something even better! Remember, your nails are an extension of your personality. Don't be afraid to experiment! Whether you're into subtle elegance or bold statements, there's a nail look out there for every occasion.
