When I reflect on my own progress over a decade, it’s easy to get caught up in the distance I still have to go. Yet, it’s so important to pause and recognize the incredible steps already taken. Becoming a citizen of a new country is no small feat—It requires determination, patience, and the courage to start over. Helping a loved one secure a visa and witnessing their first journey abroad brings a unique joy that’s difficult to describe. Buying a home, especially in a foreign land, symbolizes stability and hope for the future. Enrolling in graduate studies while balancing life’s challenges showcases a commitment to continual growth. These personal wins remind me that success isn’t only about big milestones but also about the small everyday moments where we persevere and support those around us. Remembering to celebrate these victories, both big and small, fuels motivation and gratitude. It also highlights how transformative dedication can be, turning dreams that once seemed impossible into achievable realities. Sharing these experiences reminds us all to appreciate our journeys and the progress made along the way.
