Knitting the Step-by-Step Sweater
How it's going:
I taught myself how to knit in two days; how to cast on🫠, how to purl, and knit stitch. I made mistakes multiple times on the collar, had to frog it a bunch and restart, but I was determined.💪🏼 After taking my time and a LOT of reassurance from my mom who knows how to knit, I finished the collar. Then came the yoke...I had to restart that as well as handful of times, learning the ML1 and ML2 was difficult, but I knew I needed to get to KNOW the stitches, and the WHY.🤣 I'm a psycho, I know. But I always learn better when I can completely understand what I'm doing.🙌🏻 I'm currently finishing the last round of the yoke, then I start the body and the sleeves. Wish me luck, because this has DEFINITELY been a learning experience. It just shows that no matter what it is, if you give yourself patience and grace, you can learn anything. (also don't look too close because it's not perfect, thank you)
