Terracotta absorbs excess moisture and prevents root rot, which can be a common problem in humid conditions. It’s important to avoid overwatering even though the room humidity is high. If you have pets or children, make sure to identify which plants are toxic. Monstera deliciosa, while stunning, is toxic to both pets and humans if ingested. Keeping such plants out of reach is a must for a safe home environment. Lastly, don’t underestimate the natural air-purifying abilities of these plants. They can help reduce airborne toxins, making your living space feel fresher and more peaceful without the need for electrical dehumidifiers. Choosing the right plants not only enhances your home's aesthetic but also contributes to your well-being.
