โ—MOONWALKERS: A MOMENT OF SILENCEโ—

On this day 24 years ago in 2001 was the most tragic day in US history. Four planes were hijacked by terrorists causing the first two to crash into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, the third into the Pentagon in Arlington County, Virginia and the finale plane into a rural Pennsylvania field during a passenger revolt. Almost 3,000 lives were lost on this day which made this the worst tragedy in American history. May these 3,000 souls continue to rest in peace ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธโœจ.

To my Moonwalker brothers and sisters, I'm asking for you just for today to please remember to take a moment of silence for the lives that have been lost on this day whenever you can throughout today.

Did you remember this exact day? Where were you on this day? Let me know down below ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธโœจ.

The phrase "WE WILL NEVER FORGET. 09/11/2001" captures the collective commitment to honor and remember those who perished and those who sacrificed so much in the aftermath. Many people find comfort in coming together to take a moment of silence, a simple yet powerful act of remembrance that transcends words. It is important to reflect on where we were and how those events affected our lives, helping us stay connected to a shared history. For some, it may also be a time to appreciate the bravery of first responders and the spirit of community that emerged in the days following the attacks. In addition to honoring the memories of those lost, remembering this day encourages ongoing conversations about peace, empathy, and the ways communities can support each other in times of crisis. Engaging with others, whether through sharing personal experiences or participating in memorial events with groups like the Moonwalkers, can reinforce bonds and provide healing. If you or someone you know has a personal story related to 9/11, sharing these accounts can be a valuable contribution, preserving history through authentic voices. It's also a reminder to keep vigilance in protecting the freedoms and safety that were so tragically threatened on that day.
