Tracy Tyler, incredible drummer, friend and person. At least now your demons will no longer haunt you. Tracy was the first person to take a chance on me. Brought me out of the jam circuit and into a group that would play every Sunday night. Tracy on drums would bring the 80s rock and 90s country, Mike Brown on bass would sing everything from 60s jam psychedelic music to Lady Gaga, Kent Crawford would educate me on the ways of country music singing Johnny Bush, George Strait and Merle Haggard. I was a kid but they treated me as an equal. Tracy also was my first roomate. We spent many of late nights playing fooseball, talking about women, music and those late night would more often than not turn to early mornings. Tracy was super Star Wars fan, he had Star Wars trivia game and was waiting for a worth challenge. I told him I’m a big fan. He said “Alright, alright, if you can get the answer to this question correct we will play. If not we won’t play and don’t ask again.”

I was stumped so we never played. But I did give him a run for his money on the fooseball table. I appreciate everything you did for me and I’m glad I got to be there for you. #rip #musicianlife #education #friends
