It highlights that genuine faith requires doing the will of the Father (obedience) rather than just saying "Lord, Lord" (words). Jesus warns that even impressive spiritual works (casting out demons, miracles) are meaningless without a personal, obedient relationship with Him.
The will of God generally refers to two main aspects: His sovereign, unchangeable decree that controls all events, and His revealed command (or moral will) directing human behavior toward holiness, righteousness, and salvation. It is often understood through Scripture, focusing on love, sanctification, and obedience.
Key components of the will of God:
Sovereign Will (Decree): God's ultimate, unstoppable plan for the universe. This includes things we cannot know in advance (secret will) and encompasses everything that happens.
Moral Will (Command): What God instructs people to do, such as living in holiness, obeying commandments, and avoiding sexual immorality.
Redemptive Will: God's desire for humanity to be saved, come to know Him, and receive eternal life.
Practical Application: In daily life, this involves giving thanks in all circumstances, serving others, and following moral guidelines.
Understanding the will of God often involves discerning God's word (Scripture) to make godly choices, rather than waiting to know the hidden future.
My transparent moment.

Reflecting on my own spiritual journey, I realize how vital it is to move beyond just performing religious acts and to truly embrace doing the will of God in daily life. The phrase "GOD'S WILL BE DONE!" captures a powerful invitation to surrender control and allow God’s plan to unfold. Many people, including myself in earlier years, thought that preaching, casting out demons, or performing miracles were the ultimate proof of faith. However, these acts do not guarantee entrance into the kingdom of God if they are not accompanied by obedience and genuine relationship with Him. This understanding became clearer after meditating on Matthew 7:21-24, where Jesus distinguishes between superficial profession and true discipleship. Living according to God's will means aligning with His sovereign plan, obeying His moral commands, and embracing His redemptive purpose for salvation. From experience, this requires daily commitment to integrity, love, and service, even in simple, unseen moments. It is not just about extraordinary spiritual works but a lifestyle of faithfulness and trust. Discerning God’s will is a practical process involving prayer, scripture study, and yielding to the Holy Spirit’s guidance. It is often about choosing holiness and righteousness amidst everyday challenges, rather than waiting for dramatic signs. Through years of walking this way, I’ve learned that living by God's will builds a solid foundation—like a house built upon a rock. This stability provides peace and assurance that transcends outward accomplishments. By focusing on obedience and sincere faith, we experience a transformed life that impacts others authentically and prepares us for eternal life.
