My transparent moment.
I use to have fear when it came to satan and his demons, i met believers on my journey that fear satan, those evil entities give people the spirit of fear when i started to understand these versus i received deliverance from fearing the enemy of our souls.
We need to fear the Lord on purpose daily, the enemy of our souls know this.
Meaning of fear.
Reverence/Awe (Holy Fear): A deep respect and adoration for God's power, holiness, and majesty.
Psalm 111:10
Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom.
All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom.
Praise him forever!
Divine story time.
Psalm 111:10 serves as the concluding summary of a hymn praising Elohim redemptive works, covenant faithfulness, and righteous acts. It defines true wisdom not as intellectual capacity, but as a reverent, awe-filled obedience to Elohim commandments.
Biblically, fear is defined in two distinct ways: a positive "fear of the Lord" (reverential awe, respect, and worship) and a negative "spirit of fear" (dread, anxiety, or terror). While the former brings wisdom and blessing, the latter is viewed as a sinful anxiety to be overcome through trust in Elohim.
Proverbs 9:10
Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom.
Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment.
Divine story time.
Proverbs 9:10 serves as a foundational summary for the entire book of Proverbs. It contrasts true wisdom, rooted in reverence for Elohim, with folly, emphasizing that understanding life requires knowing Elohim and submitting to His authority.
Luke 10:19-20
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
Divine story time.
In Luke 10:19-20, Jesus tells the seventy-two disciples, who are returning joyful from a successful mission, that He has given them authority over all demonic power (snakes and scorpions). He corrects their focus, explaining that having their names written in heaven is more important than possessing spiritual power.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Divine story time.
2 Timothy 1:7 is Paul’s encouragement to a timid Timothy, urging him to overcome fear, embrace his calling, and boldly preach the gospel despite persecution and false teaching. Written from prison, Paul highlights that the Holy Spirit provides inner strength, love, and self-discipline rather than cowardice.
