Spiritual adultery is a metaphor for breaking a covenant with YHWH by chasing after false gods, worldly desires, or idols, treating it as unfaithfulness to Him. It signifies a breach of loyalty where a believer's love for worldly pleasures, money, or comfort rivals their devotion to YHWH, making them "enemies" of YHWH and that’s exactly what the enemy’s of our souls want.

Can we remain committed to your spiritual values and resist the temptation to compromise your faith, even when faced with challenges? Does your devotion to YHWH strengthen your bond with your spouse? satan knows if we are willing to commit spiritual adultery, that is, cheating on YHWH with satan. That evil entity is like, ok if they are willing to do that to YHWH who is they spouse?
