2 Peter 2:20-22 The Message
If they’ve escaped from the slum of sin by experiencing our Master and Savior, Jesus Christ, and then slid back into that same old life again, they’re worse than if they had never left. Better not to have started out on the straight road to God than to start out and then turn back, repudiating the experience and the holy command. They prove the point of the proverbs, “A dog goes back to its own vomit” and “A scrubbed-up pig heads for the mud.”
Embracing divine guidance: leadership can choose a path of love and redemption, rather than being led astray by counterfeit commitments and iniquity. As the Bible warns, those who die in this state may say, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and perform miracles?' Yet, they will be met with, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers.' This serves as a poignant reminder to biblically repent and believe in the gospel, ensuring your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life, as stated in Revelation 20:14-15, and securing a place in the new Jerusalem for your souls i made my mind up in 1999 not to be used and have my soul refused the no  of them

The meaning of perversity.
Perversity is the deliberate, stubborn tendency to act against what is expected, reasonable, or good. It signifies a contrary, willful disposition, often showing persistence in wrongdoing or unreasonable resistance to guidance. The term also describes a situation with an outcome opposite to intended results, often out of sheer defiance or obstinacy.
Reflecting on prophetic leadership, it’s clear that genuine leadership requires more than titles or positions—it demands a heart fully submitted to divine authority. From personal experience, embracing Jesus Christ as the supreme authority means daily choosing to surrender self-will and align with His will. One practical step is engaging deeply with scripture, such as studying Ephesians 4:11 about God’s gifts, and 1 Timothy 3:1 on the qualifications of a bishop, which emphasize character and integrity over status. In walking this path, leaders face challenges like pride, manipulation, and false doctrine, which can lead to spiritual decline described in 2 Peter 2:20-22. I’ve witnessed that slipping back into old ways after experiencing God’s transformative power leads to deeper struggles. An authentic journey includes constant self-examination and seeking repentance to avoid the pitfalls of iniquity and deception. Understanding biblical terms such as perversity—wilful deviation from good—reminds us how easily one can resist guidance and act contrary to God’s design. It reinforces the importance of cultivating humility and openness to correction. Leaders who embody these principles inspire others to live faithfully and pursue righteousness. Ultimately, leadership is a sacred trust. Our choices impact our souls and the communities we serve. Committing to obey the commandments of YHWH and rejecting counterfeit teachings strengthens our relationship with Him. From personal journeys and communal experiences, I encourage leaders to prioritize sincere devotion over mere appearance, ensuring that when Christ returns, we are recognized as true servants, with our names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
