Title: the word of God did not tell us to be led by anger emotions or feelings the word told us to be led by the Holy Spirit. That’s how we know we are the children of God.

Thought.

Feelings and emotions ate like visitors they come and they go we should not be out here, making lifetime decisions based upon feelings and emotions.

Whatever we allow the enemy’s of our souls to use they will use it our emotions and feelings was given to us by God I’m not saying, don’t be emotional or to ignore how you feel our we cannot let those things rise above being led by the Holy Spirit many people make choices based upon emotions and how they feel we should make our decisions based upon the word of God, for instance a woman can be angry with her husband, and because of that anger she is thinking about committing adultery bad emotions can cause people to do bad things we cannot make decisions with bad emotions or bad feelings those things can alter our life what was explained about the married woman can happen with a married man as well emotions and feelings come and go we can feel one way at 1 PM and by 2 PM the feeling and emotion is gone.

ROMANS 8:14

For all who are allowing themselves tobe led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

James 1:20-22

Human anger[a] does not produce the righteousness[b] God desires.

So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.

But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.

... Read moreIn my personal journey of faith, I've found that emotions can be powerful yet unpredictable forces that often cloud judgment. The insight that feelings are like visitors, coming and going, has helped me approach life's challenges with greater calm and clarity. When confronted with anger or hurt, I try to pause and reflect on the teachings of the Bible, especially verses like Romans 8:14 which emphasize being led by the Spirit. This has made a significant difference in avoiding rash decisions that I might later regret. For instance, there was a time when I felt deeply upset and was tempted to respond in anger during a conflict. Instead, recalling James 1:20-22 encouraged me to reject harmful impulses and accept God's guidance planted in my heart. This approach helped me act with kindness rather than anger. Over time, I’ve realized that emotions shouldn’t dictate major life choices because they shift quickly—as the saying goes, "Feelings are just visitors. Let them come and go." By prioritizing Spirit-led decisions, we align ourselves with God's will, which leads to peace and righteousness. It's not about suppressing emotions but acknowledging them without letting them overpower our faith. This practice has strengthened my relationship with God and improved my interactions with others, allowing me to respond thoughtfully instead of reacting impulsively. Embracing this mindset empowers anyone to live a faith-driven life, making choices grounded in spiritual wisdom rather than temporary feelings.
