Fine demons…

Okay, so I've been thinking about this a lot lately, and it's not just me, right? Whether they're heroes fighting for humanity or the terrifying demons they're up against, the characters in Demon Slayer just have this undeniable appeal. It's like, why do they have to be so handsome? My heart can't take it! Let's start with the obvious: Muzan Kibutsuji. I mean, wow. He might be the ultimate evil, but his design is just exquisite. The way he carries himself, his impeccable fashion sense, and that mysterious, almost melancholic aura... it's captivating! There's a certain elegance to his villainy that makes him incredibly attractive, despite all the terrible things he does. The animators really leaned into his sophisticated, powerful presence, making him look both menacing and irresistibly charming. It's a testament to the character designers that they can make someone so evil look so good. But it's not just the demons! Our main hero, Tanjiro Kamado, is also widely considered super handsome. And for entirely different reasons! Tanjiro's appeal comes from his pure heart, his unwavering kindness, and his fierce determination. His gentle eyes and compassionate nature shine through, making him incredibly endearing. You can see the strength in his resolve, but also the deep empathy he holds for others, even for some of the demons. It's that inner beauty and unwavering spirit that truly makes him shine as a character, and it definitely adds to his overall attractiveness. He's the kind of hero you can't help but root for, and yes, swoon over a little! And let's not forget the other Hashira and even some of the Upper Moons! Giyu Tomioka, with his stoic demeanor and piercing blue eyes, has a quiet, cool handsomeness. Kyojuro Rengoku’s fiery charisma and bright smile are absolutely infectious. Even Zenitsu, in his moments of unconscious bravery, can look surprisingly cool and handsome. The variety in character designs is incredible, offering something for everyone. I think a huge part of it is Ufotable's incredible animation and character design work. Every detail, from their expressive eyes to their dynamic movements, is just so meticulously crafted. The way light plays on their faces, the flow of their hair – it all contributes to making them look incredibly appealing. The artists bring Koyoharu Gotouge's original manga designs to life with such vibrancy that it's hard not to be drawn in. So, while the original post was playfully lamenting how handsome the 'demons' are, I think it speaks to a broader appreciation for the diverse and stunning character designs throughout the entire Demon Slayer universe.
