Rest in peace my sweet boy

My sweet August had been sick for 4days on Friday night his breathing was bad and he had no energy to walk . I moved him over next to the heater and talked to him as he laid motionless, I said , “Baby boy if you are tired it’s okay to go home “, I prayed over him and asked the Lord to accept him he was suffering so much. His breathing was rough all the night I’d wake up and check on him about 5:30 a.m.

He started coughing rough again I talked to him and petted on him scratch his favorite spot on his head between his eyes. He looked up and gave me his chirpy meow and laid his head back down one last time and purred the loudest put he ever had made stretched one last time and let out his last breath. He passed with his eyes open I like to think he saw God at the rainbow bridge. I miss him following me and sitting with me and watching me cook. He passed at 6:15am , chase the butterflies my little boy and lay in the sun. 😔🥺😢🐈‍⬛🌈🌉

Many people find solace in the thought of their furry companions finding peace at the Rainbow Bridge, a concept rooted in pet loss grief. This idea brings comfort by suggesting that pets are never truly gone, but rather enjoy eternal joy and companionship in a beautiful place. As you grieve the loss of a beloved pet, consider creating a memorial or tribute to honor their memory. This can be a simple framed photo, a special area in your home, or even a social media post paying tribute to their life. Sharing your feelings and memories can help process grief and inspire others who may be suffering the same loss. Additionally, seeking support from friends, family, or pet loss support groups can provide necessary comfort during this challenging time. Remember, it's okay to express your sorrow and celebrate the joy your pet brought into your life. Their unique personality, quirks, and love will always hold a special place in your heart. Whether it's chasing butterflies or lounging in the sun, may these memories bring you peace as you navigate your journey of healing.

I am so sorry!! It is so hard losing a pet. It feels so helpless not knowing exactly how to help or what to do. I am sure he is chasing butterflies and looking down on you with love in his soul.
