I Don't Think I'm Ready For This One 🥴
✨ STARTING: GOD OF MALICE ✨
Okay… I’ve been seeing this book EVERYWHERE and y’all finally convinced me 😭
But why is everyone saying it’s dark?? Like HOW dark are we talking 👀
I’m lowkey nervous because I’ve heard this is not your typical romance… it’s intense, toxic, and a little unhinged. So yeah… I might be in over my head 🫠
Going into this completely blind (kinda) but I already know I need to check the vibes before I get too deep 😅
If you’ve read this… BE HONEST:
am I gonna love it or regret everything??
I’ll update y’all once I’m a few chapters in 👀🔥

UPDATE 👀🔥
Okay… I finished it.
And um—yeah… y’all were NOT lying 😭
This is NOT a cute little romance. This is dark, messy, toxic, “I need to sit in silence after this” type of book. Like I kept thinking “it can’t get worse than this” and then it absolutely did 💀
BUT… I can’t even lie… it was GOOD.
The tension?? Insane.
The characters?? Unhinged.
The vibes?? Straight chaos.
I was hooked the whole time, even when I was lowkey stressed reading it 😅
This is one of those books where you’re like “I shouldn’t like this…” but you still eat it up anyway 👀
Final verdict:
✨ dark as hell (seriously check triggers)
✨ not for the weak
✨ addictive in the most toxic way
✨ I get the hype now
Would I reread it? 😭
If you’ve read it—be real… did it mess with your head too or am I dramatic?? 👀🔥

Having recently picked up 'God of Malice' by USA Today bestselling author Rina Kent, I can totally relate to the mixed feelings surrounding this book. Like many others, I was drawn in by the buzz on platforms like BookTok and Lemon8Reads, intrigued but wary about the darkness and intensity people kept mentioning. From my experience, this novel is not for the faint of heart. It delves deep into complex, often toxic relationships with unfiltered emotional twists. The 'God of Malice' introduces characters that aren't your typical romantic heroes—more like compellingly flawed antiheroes whose actions can be both captivating and disturbing. What makes this book stand out is how it explores themes of manipulation, power struggles, and emotional chaos, making you question the line between love and obsession. As I read, I found myself constantly checking my own vibe—sometimes rooting for the characters, other times wanting to step away to catch my breath. If you're considering jumping into this one, be prepared for a rollercoaster of feelings. It’s intense, with moments that challenge your comfort zone, but it’s also well-written and engrossing. The story’s dark nature means it’s not your usual romance, but if you enjoy narratives that push boundaries and explore the shadowy sides of relationships, this book might just hook you. I also appreciate the way Rina Kent's storytelling keeps you guessing—each chapter unravels more of the 'monster' beneath the surface, as the OCR mentions, capturing your attention in a way that lingers even after you put the book down. Overall, 'God of Malice' is a compelling read for those ready to experience a dark, toxic, and beautifully chaotic love story. If you do take the plunge, make sure to pace yourself and embrace the intensity for a unique reading journey that sticks with you long after the final page.

It’s definitely different 😭 DARK
