RIP Mom🫶❤️
My Mother, Ina Patricia Willis, passed away on May 30, 2026 from hospital acquired pneumonia and complications from AFIB and other health issues. She fell and broke both legs at home right after Mother’s Day in 2025 and has been in a nursing home since then with my Father who has Alzheimer’s. She was born not far from where she passed in New Bern, North Carolina in Morehead City on November 15, 1942 and was 83 years old at the time of her passing.
My older brother, her son John, passed away suddenly at the age of 62 years on February 23, 2026 from a stroke. This was a shock for us all and I do believe hasten her death.
I am at a great loss without them both. Half my birth family is gone! Just gone 😞 my mind is having a hard time wrapping itself around this. John was such a strong, intelligent force in our lives and Mom was the glue that held it together. She was the person I talked to every day and listened to all my complaints and achievements. She was my MOM….I miss them both so much! Rest in peace John and Mom! I am happy they have each other up in heaven.
