My houseplant journey is restarting! ✨ 🌸

It’s been a while since I’ve had a thriving indoor garden. I sold off my house plant collection when my son was a baby and I’m super eager to get back into collecting and caring for these beauties. #indoorgarden #loveplants

... Read moreRestarting my indoor plant journey has been an incredibly rewarding experience. After selling my collection when my son was a baby, I realized how much joy and calm these plants brought into my home. Some plants that I've found really beginner-friendly and resilient include the Peace Lily, Parlor Palm, and Heartleaf Philodendron. These species handle indoor conditions well and add beautiful greenery to any space. One important tip I’ve learned is to be mindful of watering. Plants like the Purple Waffle Persian Chocolate and Dracaena surculosa enjoy moist but well-draining soil, so it’s best not to overwater. On the other hand, Cyclamen and Pink Polkadot plants appreciate cooler and slightly more attentive care to thrive indoors. To help stimulate growth, I use products like Vicks Plant GROW, which combines nutrients that encourage healthy leaves and roots. Providing adequate indirect sunlight is also crucial. Some of my plants, such as the Madagascar Dragon Tree, thrive near bright windows but away from direct sun to prevent leaf burn. Beyond aesthetics, caring for these plants creates a peaceful routine. It’s a chance to connect with nature indoors and cultivate a nurturing hobby. Whether you’re just starting or returning like me, selecting a variety of plants suited to your living environment and learning their specific care needs can make the indoor gardening experience truly fulfilling.
