located at level 3 of the centrepoint, this place is definitely a hidden spot for authentic japanese bites, with cozy vibes and friendly staff.

prices were pretty standard and each dish comes with miso soup~ complimentary yuzu slush was also served to end off our meal ๐Ÿคค it was so refreshing and i really enjoyed it!

my friend @just a foodie ๐Ÿ™‚ ordered the una tama don and he stated that though the unagi was good, the tamago was a little small and the rice was slightly on the drier side!

i got the spicy volcano kaisen san and i loved the kick that it gave! the portion was reasonable and came with a variety of sashimi โ‹†.๐™š ฬŠ

Read moreIf you're curious about expanding your Japanese dining experience at Tora San, here are a few tips based on my visits: The una tama don, priced at $24.90, features flavorful grilled unagi but comes with a slightly smaller tamago and drier rice compared to other places I've tried. Pairing the don with their complementary miso soup enhances the meal's balance. For those who enjoy seafood with a spicy twist, the spicy volcano kaisen san is a must-try. It delivers a decent kick and a good variety of sashimi, making it a solid option at $20.90. Steamed gyoza at $6.90 was a satisfying side, perfect for sharing. I also noticed that the location at Centrepoint offers comfortable seating with friendly staff, creating a relaxed atmosphereโ€”ideal for casual meals. While some may not find it worth multiple visits, itโ€™s definitely a hidden gem for authentic Japanese bites in the Orchard area. Overall, if youโ€™re hunting for the best unagi near you or craving a viral unagi don, Tora San deserves a spot on your list. Just be mindful of portion sizes and rice moisture, but the flavors and cozy ambiance compensate well!
