Try the VIRAL Bubble Slam Dunk Moisturizer with me
I finally tried the Bubble Slam Dunk 🏀🗑️ Moisturizer but I honestly didn’t see the hype 🤷🏽♀️
Don’t get me wrong - I still agree 1000% that this works - BUT it’s also a very basic moisturizer which is why I felt the way I felt. It gives hydrated, but not greasy or residual and I got to give it up for the cute and hygienic dispensing method. 🌸
It adds a beautiful dew to the skin and absorbs quickly, however it’s one of those products you must be careful adding in. I’ve tried this with multiple skin products and routines (switching to see what works) and most of the time - no matter how long I waited between each step - I dealt with pilling. 💊
I did eventually find my routine but it was A LOT of trial and error. So all in all…
Would I recommend? Yes
Would I repurchase? No - only because I switch my products when I run out or need to meet a different skin concern so the trial and error on new products wouldn’t be fun for me 😖

After sharing my initial thoughts on the Bubble Slam Dunk Moisturizer, I received so many questions, especially about its suitability for different skin types and how to avoid that pesky pilling! So, I decided to dive a little deeper and share more of my personal insights and tips, hoping to make your experience with this viral product even better. One of the questions I got repeatedly was about sensitive skin and whether this moisturizer is a good fit. From my experience, and looking at the ingredients like aloe vera and vitamin E (which are often highlighted in the full product description), it certainly leans towards being skin-friendly. Aloe vera is a well-known soothing agent, fantastic for calming irritation and providing lightweight hydration, which is exactly what sensitive skin often craves. Vitamin E is an antioxidant, offering protection against environmental stressors and supporting skin health. The fact that the original formula is described as ‘basic’ might actually be a huge plus for those with reactive skin, as it often means fewer potential irritants. It provides that much-needed moisture without a long list of active ingredients that could cause sensitivities. I noticed it felt very gentle on my skin, never causing any redness or discomfort, which is a big win! Another point of interest from many of you was about its texture and how it applies, especially for young skin. This moisturizer has a wonderfully light, almost gel-cream texture that absorbs incredibly fast. It feels refreshing and leaves a lovely, natural dewy finish without any greasiness. This makes it perfect for younger users who might be looking for simple, effective hydration without heavy emollients. It's truly a 'slam dunk' in terms of providing moisture without feeling occlusive or sticky. The pump dispenser is also super hygienic and fun, which is a nice bonus, especially for those just starting their skincare journey! Now, let's talk about the elephant in the room: pilling. I mentioned experiencing it, and it seems many of you have too! Pilling usually happens when products don't layer well, either due to specific ingredients or how they're applied. My biggest tip to counteract this is to give each step of your routine ample time to absorb. When I say 'ample,' I mean a good 3-5 minutes between applying serums and then the moisturizer. Less is definitely more with this product; try using a smaller amount than you usually would for a richer cream. I found that gently pressing it into the skin rather than vigorously rubbing also helped significantly. Sometimes, pilling can also occur if there’s too much dead skin on the surface, so ensuring you’re gently exfoliating regularly might also make a difference. It took some trial and error, but once I figured out the right layering technique, the pilling virtually disappeared. Many queries also touched on the broader benefits, especially regarding the 'blue light protection' often highlighted with Bubble products. While I can't scientifically verify its blue light protection claims through personal use, the combination of antioxidants like Vitamin E is generally good for overall skin defense. It implies a product designed to protect your skin from daily environmental factors, which is always a thoughtful addition to any skincare routine. Ultimately, while my personal repurchase decision was a 'no' simply because my skin concerns evolve, I genuinely believe the Bubble Slam Dunk Moisturizer offers fantastic value, especially for those with sensitive or younger skin seeking a reliable, hydrating base. It's a great entry-level moisturizer that delivers on its promise of hydration and a dewy glow, provided you master the art of application!

My friend had it and she came over to my house with it and I loved it so much but then she broke it so now I’m mad at her. I’m just kidding, but I literally wasn’t with that thing mainly because of the pumping motion, but whatever.
