Precious Produce - reduce waste🍋
•Certain fruits (apples) release ethylene gases which can accelerate ripening in other nearby produce, so it is important to separate those fruits from ethylene sensitive vegetables. Doing this will ensure produce freshness and ultimately reduce food waste! 🫶🌏 #fruit #reducereuserecycle #

This is why you should always wash your fruits and vegetables 🌱🫐🍉   Even though our fruits & veggies are full of things that are good for us, they can be coated in things like pesticides, bacteria, and mold spores 🦠   Washing your produce before eating it can prevent food-borne illnesses 🫧
