Read more私も家族の医療費がかさんだ年に医療費控除を初めて申請しました。最初は申請書の書き方や対象になる費用の範囲がややこしく感じましたが、国税庁の医療費通知書を活用すると記入作業が大幅に簡単になりました。 特に、通知書に載っていない12月分や保険適用外の自由診療分は自分で領収書を見ながら計算しなければならないので、きちんと領収書を保存しておくことが大切です。私はスマホで写真を撮ってデジタル保存しておく方法を取り入れ、5年間の保存義務も安心できました。 また、病院のみならず調剤薬局の支払いも控除対象になることを知ってからは、薬局の領収書も忘れずに保管するようにしています。健康診断や人間ドックは基本的に控除対象外ですが、何か異常が見つかり治療に移行した場合は対象になるので、状況に応じて判断が必要でした。 確定申告は毎年3月中旬までですが、終了間際は大変混み合うため、e-taxでのオンライン申請を活用することをおすすめします。これにより、窓口に行かず自宅から申告ができ、忙しい人にも便利です。 私の経験から、医療費控除をしっかり活用すると家計の負担がかなり軽減されるので、医療費が年間で10万円を超えた場合は忘れず申請すべきだと実感しています。少しの手間で戻ってくるお金は大きな助けになるので、みなさんもぜひ賢く利用してください!
