やってみて感じたのは、「スチームで温める→汚れを浮かせる→吸い取る」を丁寧にやると仕上がりが全然違うこと。特にソファーの掃除は、見た目だと落ちたか分かりにくい色でも、汚水タンクで“目に見えて実感”できるのが気持ちいいです。 私がよくやる手順はこんな感じ。 1) 先に掃除機でホコリ・髪の毛・ペットの毛を回収（ここをサボると後でヘッドに絡みやすい） 2) お湯（温水）モードで全体を軽く濡らして汚れをゆるめる 3) 蒸気モードで噴射しながら吸引。ポイントはOCRにもあったけど“ゆっくり動かすこと”！早く動かすと汚れを回収しきれない感じがしました 4) 仕上げにもう一度吸引だけで水分をできるだけ回収→乾燥を早める 「おもらし」や飲みこぼし系のニオイが気になる時は、いきなり全体を濡らすより、まずペーパーでしっかり吸い取ってから局所的に洗浄するのがおすすめ。広げないのがコツです。頑固な汚れは、専用洗剤のほかにオキシクリーンを“薄めて”使う人も多いけど、素材によっては色落ちが怖いので目立たない場所でテストしてからが安心です。 椅子（布座面）を丸洗いしたい時も同じで、座面の縫い目・角は汚れが溜まりやすいので、ヘッドを当てる向きを変えながらゆっくり。ダイニングマットやラグは食べこぼしが多いので、週末にまとめてやるとスッキリします。 あと、意外と便利だったのが“水拭き掃除機”代わりの使い方。フローリングは基本NGでも、布製のマットやカーシートなら水拭き感覚でさっぱり。最後に換気＋サーキュレーターで乾かすと、湿っぽさが残りにくかったです。 カーペットクリーナーのスプレーを併用するなら、スプレー→少し置く→スチーム吸引の順にすると汚れ戻りが少ない印象。やりすぎてびしょびしょにするより、“少量を何回か”が失敗しにくいです。
