just some sans stuff

Then, the 'recharging' state, where he's catching some z's, looking totally at peace with 'z's above his head. It was a fun challenge to capture those nuances digitally. I used my tablet to create this artwork, focusing on clean lines and expressive eyes – which, even when closed, tell a story about his energy levels! Sans's humor and cynicism are definitely part of his charm. He often has this 'well, this stinks' attitude, especially when things get serious, but it's always delivered with a wink. That's why I loved showing his grinning, 'awake' look – it captures that mischievous glint. He's a character who can lighten the mood even in dire situations, but also knows when to get serious. Making a Sans drawing that shows this range was really rewarding. Speaking of different states, the Undertale fandom is amazing for its creativity, with so many alternative universes (AUs) like Underswap! While my drawing is of the classic Sans, it's cool to think about how he might look in an 'Underswap retake' or even a 'blue screen Sans' scenario, which usually implies some kind of glitch or powerful, perhaps overwhelming, state. The community's imagination really brings so much depth to these characters, making them popular subjects for any sketch sans drawing session. A common question I hear is 'is Sans older than Papyrus?' It's one of those mysteries that the game doesn't explicitly answer, but many fans speculate. Given Sans's more mature demeanor and protective nature, a lot of people tend to think he's the older brother, even if only by a little. Papyrus's enthusiastic and childlike personality certainly makes it seem plausible! It adds an interesting layer to their relationship, and drawing them together is always a treat.
