It’s Saturday. For a lot of the world, today is about checking out, sleeping in, or recovering from last night. But for us? Today is about leveling up.

Check out this mindset for the weekend:

"DO THE WORK OTHERS AREN'T WILLING TO DO AND YOU'LL GET THE THINGS OTHERS WILL NEVER HAVE."

In active addiction, we wanted the reward without the effort. We wanted the peace without the practice. But in Recovery, we learn the truth: The shortcut is a lie. The work—the meetings, the therapy, the gym, the boundaries, the uncomfortable conversations—that is the price of admission for a life of freedom. While others are nursing hangovers today, you are nursing your dreams. Keep grinding in the dark, and your results will shine in the light! Let's Get It! 💪

✅️- 3 ACTIONABLE TIPS TO "DO THE WORK" TODAY:

1. THE "REVERSE-FOMO" LIST:

On Saturdays, we often get FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) watching others party. Flip the script. Grab your phone notes and write down 5 things you are GLAD to be missing out on today.

• Examples: I’m missing the pounding headache. I’m missing the "scan of shame" through my sent texts. I’m missing the empty bank account.

• Why: This reminds you that you aren't depriving yourself; you are protecting yourself. 🛡️

2. EXECUTE THE "EAT THE FROG" MICRO-DOSE:

Mark Twain said if you have to eat a live frog, do it first thing in the morning. Identify that ONE task you’ve been dreading all week (laundry, a difficult phone call, budgeting). Set a timer for 15 minutes and just start it.

• Why: Procrastination drains your energy. Doing the thing you're avoiding gives you a massive dopamine hit of accomplishment that fuels the rest of your sober Saturday. 🐸

3. THE "INTEGRITY 24" CHALLENGE:

For the next 24 hours, practice radical alignment. If you tell yourself you’re going to do something—even something small like making your bed or drinking water—DO IT.

• Why: Addiction broke our trust in ourselves. Every time you keep a promise to yourself, you rebuild your self-esteem. Be the person who does what they say they will do today. 🤝
