Sleepy Time Tinc / Oxymel 🧚🏾‍♀️

Let’s get right into it ! I made a tinctire / oxymel for myself with the intentions of helping myself get some rest. After a course I took online , I decided to try making my own because I wasn’t sleeping right. I made it and let it sit for about 4 weeks. To my surprise, it worked really well 😇 I added Lavender, Chamomile, and a little bit of Lemon Balm.

🕊️Fun Fact : I learned the difference between a Tincture and Oxymel are the bases. Tinctures have an Alcohol Base while Oxymels have a vinegar base.

Using vinegar as the base , this blend is an Oxymel. And it works everytime 😉 I wake up feeling rested. And if I choose to take some during the day, it’s with the intentions to relax and be in my body.
