I'm so thrilled you're checking out my latest Henry Creel fan art! When I started sketching, I really wanted to capture his essence – that chilling, intelligent gaze behind those round glasses, contrasted with his seemingly ordinary appearance. One of the first things I focused on was his signature dark fedora and those distinct circular glasses. They're so integral to his look, especially before his full transformation. I spent a lot of time getting the angles right to convey his intellectual yet menacing aura. And of course, his blue eyes – I made sure to give them that piercing quality that's so memorable. It’s amazing how much emotion you can convey just through the eyes, even when they're partially obscured. I tried to hint at that subtle smile, suggesting the deep, complex thoughts brewing beneath the surface. The little details matter so much, like that red key-shaped pendant. It's a small element but carries such symbolic weight in his story, and I felt it was crucial to include it to make the drawing instantly recognizable and meaningful to fellow fans. For the background, I opted for a light brown wood texture to give it a classic, perhaps slightly old-fashioned, feel that complements his character's timeless evil.
