my 5 favorite activities

1. WALKS! We’ve been going on so many walks lately because the weather’s been getting better in michigan. We love going on walks around the neighborhood and luckily we live right next to a bunch of small businesses so it’s easy to go out and grab lunch, ice cream or coffee.

2. Going to the park! Addie loves going to the park and we always head straight to the swings. She has a great time every time and luckily we have a park within walking distance as well.

3. Bath time! Addie recently discovered how fun splashing is and i positively cannot wait to get her into the pool/ swim classes this summer. We’re going to have SO much fun.

4. Rough housing! Rough play is important for babies, but Addie hasn’t always loved it. Overtime we’ve learned to understand each other better (her learning that i’m just playing and i’d never hurt her. Me learning when to be more gentle, i used to be over zealous) And now we LOVE to play a little rough. I put Addie over my head and sing and dance, Addie and I have a blast!

5. Reading books! I’ll be honest we don’t do this often enough, I try to every night at bedtime and whenever I remember though. But we really enjoy reading books together and Addie especially loves interactive books where she can touch and feel different textures 🥰
