what groceries I bought this week and why?
Here’s a cost breakdown and some dinner ideas for your week 🫶🏻
so excited to share some of these meal ideas with you guys! My bf and I both love cooking so we pretty much cook 4-6 nights a week most weeks but we’re trying to eat at home even more often.
He’s addicted to junk food and HATES any kind of veggies so I just make my sides healthy and I eat whatever main dish works for the both of us (hence the unhealthy dishes)
Lmk if you’d like to see how these turned out!

This week's grocery shopping included a careful selection of fruits and vegetables to promote healthy eating habits. We focused on versatile items like zucchini, bell peppers, and green onions that can enhance various meals throughout the week. In addition, we stocked up on healthy snacks such as light string cheese, Chobani yogurt, and fresh fruits like apples and berries, which are perfect for quick bites. For our meal prep, we created a well-rounded menu featuring delicious options like homemade chicken nuggets and lasagna, which cater to different tastes and dietary preferences. Since my boyfriend leans towards more indulgent fare, we've also incorporated some of his favorites like mac and cheese and orange chicken into our dinners. This balance allows us to enjoy cooking and eating at home while ensuring healthful choices are available. Overall, the emphasis on balanced meals means we can satisfy cravings without sacrificing nutrition. For anyone looking to spice up their weekly meal planning, consider mixing healthy sides with comforting main dishes to keep everyone happy at the dinner table.

I do the same thing on the note pad in my phone. It makes me feel so organized and I stick to my budget.
